Approach & Style. I work from a collaborative, person centered approach, working alongside you toward your personal goals. As a certified yoga teacher and a psychodynamically trained therapist, I offer a holistic approach to mental health and wellness, ranging from the more traditional approach to therapy, to body-oriented and mindfulness-based approaches to therapy.
Our time together can take many shapes and during our first session we will explore your desires, needs, and goals for therapy to find the best option for you. I offer a free 15 minute consultation if you wish to meet and talk more before committing to therapy.
Age & Interest. I work with adults, adolescents, and children who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, conflict in relationships, adjustments and transitions, anger management, self-esteem, body image concerns, trauma, religious trauma, and spiritual concerns. I strive to embody both cultural humility and multiculturalism, creating a safe space that supports BIPOC, LGBTQI+, and people of all identities and backgrounds.
Cost & Insurance. As a resident at the CTS Counseling Center, my rate is $120 for a 50 minute session. I currently do not accept insurance, however I can offer an income-based sliding scale on a limited basis. If those reduced fee spots are full, I would be happy to add you to a waitlist.
Certifications & Trainings. I am a certified yoga teacher (RYT 200 from Yoga Alliance). I have received trainings from Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (SAIGE) in working with the LGBTQ+ community, Somatic Wilderness Therapy Institute in natured-based therapy interventions, and various trainings in multi-cultural counseling practices.
